An Iranian MP said in Jakarta on Monday Tehran's comprehensive response to the package of incentives offered by Group 5+1 will pave the way for constructive talks between the two sides.

Head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi added that Iran's timely response to the package proved Iran's commitment to international regulations.

Iran's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iran's long-term economic cooperation with the West based on logic, and security cooperation with members of the Group 5+1 were among topics focused on in Iran's response to the package of incentives, Boroujerdi said while addressing a press conference held prior to his departure for Kuala Lumpur.

Enrichment is the inalienable right of all signatories to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), he said stressing such a right cannot be violated by using political power.

"Now this is up to the West to respond to Iran's readiness for resuming constructive talks," he reiterated.

Boroujerdi arrived in Jakarta Saturday evening to brief Indonesian officials on the latest developments in Iran's peaceful nuclear case.

He proceeded to Kuala Lumpur early Tuesday.

Boroujerdi is scheduled to hold talks with senior Malaysian officials on Iran's peaceful nuclear activities and Tehran's response to the package of incentives offered by Group 5+1.

A package of incentives was presented to Iran on June 6 by five permanent members of the UN Security Council -- China, Russia, Britain, France and the United States -- plus Germany (Group 5+1).

Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani presented Tehran's response to ambassadors of the Group 5+1 as well as Swiss envoy who is acting as caretaker of US interests in Iran on August 22.
