President: Era of bullying in international relations is over

Tehran, Aug 29, IRNA
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here Tuesday said that gone is the time for speaking out of grudge.
The president said that the era of bullying in international relations is over and that now is the time for turning to thinking, culture and reasoning.
The chief executive made the remark while talking to domestic and foreign reporters in today's press conference.
In response to a question about his view on the remarks of the US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton that `if the US does not find Iran's response to EU3 package of incentives satisfactory, it will enter into new coalitions to impose sanction against the Iranians' and whether the people will be warned to resist against sanctions, the president said, "Any one is free to make comments.
"However, we will comply with decisions within the framework of laws and have no commitment outside such a framework."
Turning to Iran's economy as an inward looking one based on internal potentials, he said that the Iranian nation is strong and therefore most of the country's basic needs are supplied domestically.
"A nation managing to run its nuclear fuel cycle with an empty hand will also be able to put up with other problems," he added.
Underlining Iran's ability to defend its right, the president said that he does not believe some parties to be so unwise to endanger their own reputation as well as that of the UN Security Council.
He added that Iran is prepared to face anything, though this is quite unlikely.
