A Majlis deputy on Saturday said Iran would not accept result of a win-loss game in its nuclear case.

Announcing this, Rapporteur of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Kazem Jalali, speaking to IRNA, stressed that the nuclear case should end up in a win-win result.

He recommended the US not to push the nuclear case into a win-loss result, saying, "Iran should achieve its inalienable nuclear rights. If other countries are concerned about Iran's nuclear case, it should be removed."

"The US always make use of the United Nations Security Council as pressure lever against Iran, based on its unilateral policies.

This is while the UNSC is mainly responsible to preserve international peace and security.

"The goal in preserving international peace and security will not be materialized unless the countries achieve their rights based on justice and fulfill their duties and responsibilities," the MP said.

He added the new draft resolution prepared by the UN Security Council on Iran's nuclear case was mainly based on the US irrational demands, saying, "This is while Iran is a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

"All nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran are peaceful. It has conducted enrichment just for purpose of research and development (R&D)."

Jalali called on international circles and big states to give a reply to a question as to which part of Iran's nuclear program contradicts international regulations and or is for non-peaceful purpose.

He said "suspension of activities" was the main topic of a draft resolution on Iran's nuclear case, stressing, "It is not a logical demand.

"Iran has repeatedly announced it fulfilled its duties within frameworks of the NPT and international regulations and that it will not abandon its rights based on international laws."

The MP stated, "Sending Iran's nuclear case to the Security Council had no logical base and was completely illegal and irrational."

He said today the Security Council is being used to put independent states under pressure, adding this would disturb dignity of the United Nations and its Security Council.

"Iran has announced it is ready to hold negotiations and cooperate within the frameworks of the NPT. Several countries have confirmed Iran's peaceful nuclear activities.

"The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has repeatedly announced ambiguities have been removed and that Iran's nuclear activities are peaceful."
