Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani said that Iran needs time to assess the package of proposal submitted by the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Councils plus Germany (5+1 group).

In an interview with the Swiss daily, Eenziger, published on Tuesday, he said that the content of some items of the received proposal are clear, while others are less clear.

"That is why we have to examine the ambiguities of the proposal, which are not few. Committees have been formed in Tehran to this end and I have been in constant contact with members of the relevant ommittees" he added.

Larijani said that given that the EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana asked me not to reveal the contents of the proposal and I feel myself ethically committed to respect his request, I cannot uncover anything else.

"The international summits cannot prevent us from following the process for responding to the proposal of the 5+1 group," he added.

Turning to Iran's plans for establishment of nuclear power plants, he said that Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant is about to be completed.

He referred to the recent tenders on establishment of more nuclear power plants in Iran and said that this is a good ground for cooperation with European states.

Iran's top nuclear negotiator said that Iran is making plans to supply its required energy for future, adding that it will be irrational to disregard nuclear fuel, therefore the relevant research will continue.
