Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Friday the US has made grave mistakes in the region for many decades and it cannot create a new crisis.
The regional countries have no negative attitude to Iran and at the same time they do not support the US policy, noted Mottaki who is currently on a tour of Africa to hold talks with the east African leaders.
He brushed off the US claims on Iran's nuclear program and said the inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have not confirmed the US claim in their reports.
He maintained Iran will not overlook its undeniable rights stipulated by Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) as it is a signatory to the treaty.
Iran seeks a diplomatic venue to resolve its nuclear case within the framework of the IAEA, he stated.
The countries which have launched propaganda campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran have a record of using atomic bombs, he added.
Mottaki arrived in Harare, Zimbabwe, Thursday evening and held talks with the country's President Robert Mugabe.
