ElBaradei terms talks with Larijani constructive

The Head of the UN atomic watchdog Mohamed Elbaradei here Thursday said his talks with secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani were "constructive."
Director-General of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) ElBaradei made the remark after his meeting with Larijani.
ElBaradei said he had called on Iran to settle the outstanding issues within the remaining time and suspend its nuclear activities for a specific period of time until the submission of his report to the Security Council.
Larijani also said that Iran is committed to its undertakings and will announce its stance during the remaining two weeks.
ElBaradei arrived here Thursday morning upon an invitation extended by Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) head Gholam-Reza Aqazadeh.
It is ElBaradei's fifth visit to Iran.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced in Mashhad, in northeast Iran, Tuesday that Iran has joined the world's nuclear club.
The president said that Iran has completed production of the nuclear fuel cycle on laboratory scale and produced enriched uranium with the purity needed for a nuclear power station on April 9, this year.
The president reiterated that Iran favors peace and justice for the entire humanity and stressed that Iran's nuclear technology will serve peaceful purposes.
