First VP: Iran's policy of holding talks with EU not to change

First Vice President Parviz Davoudi here Wednesday said that no change is likely to take place in Iran's logic for holding talks with Europe.
On the sidelines of a ceremony marking the national glory and power by ringing a bell, he told reporters that Iran's nuclear activities are completely within the framework of international laws and that no violation has taken place.
Concerning Iran's confidence building move associated with its use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, the official said, "It is not legal and rational to attempt to prove what does not exist.
Therefore, the US effort to this effect is futile.
"The countries possessing a variety of weapons of mass destruction and nuclear arms should clarify to the world community the reason they have accumulated such weapons.
