Iran will powerfully resist enemies: Ahmadinejad

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Dehdasht on Monday said the Iranian government nation will make every effort to gain access to nuclear technology for peaceful ends and will powerfully resist the enemies.
Addressing a huge gathering of local residents of Dehdasht, he stressed that the Iranian nation will not back down on its right to pursue peaceful nuclear energy despite pressures being exerted by the enemies.
"Today several powerful countries have polluted the world atmosphere by ignoring the rules of morality," he said, adding that all the oppression and disorder in human society can be blamed on certain countries which are dead to spiritual and religious values.
Elsewhere in his speech, the president referred to the great potentials of the province, and expressed the hope existing problems affecting provincial residents will be solved with the diligence of government officials.
President Ahmadinejad, accompanied by members of his cabinet arrived in this southwestern provincial capital city on Sunday to meet local residents, elites, war veterans and families of martyrs in various towns and cities of the province.
The president's ongoing visit to Kohgilouyeh and Boyer Ahmad province is his 10th provincial visit since he began a program last year of visiting the country's deprived provinces in order to discuss their problems.
He and his cabinet have already visited South Khorasan, Sistan-Baluchestan, Ilam, Qom, Hormuzgan, Bushehr, Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari, Lorestan and Golestan provinces.
