Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki Wednesday said that Iran is determined to enforce the nation's legal right to use nuclear technology for peaceful ends.

Mottaki, who is in Qatar on an official day-long visit, briefed his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim al-Thani, of Iran's position on the current nuclear standoff with the West.

The two officials also discussed avenues for bolstering their economic and commercial relations and levels of mutual investment.

Sheikh Hamad, in the meeting, said his country was eager to implement agreements already signed with Iran, particularly the one on employment of skilled and professional Iranians in its workforce.

Iranian Deputy Minister of Labor Malekitabar, who is accompanying Minister Mottaki in this visit, told his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Fallah Bin Jassim Bin Jaber al-Thani that Iranian technicans that will be dispatched to Qater in accordance with the agreement are highly qualified.

Sheikh Fallah replied by saying Qatar is in dire need of Iranian engineers and physicians.
