Russian diplomat says Iran ready to continue dialogue with Moscow

Moscow, March 13, IRNA
Iran-Russia-Nuclear
A Russian diplomat commissioned at his country's Embassy In Tehran said here Monday Iran has announced readiness for continuation of talks on shared enrichment in Russian soil.

The Russian official who spoke on condition of anonymity made the comment in an interview with his country's Ria Novosti News Agency, adding, "Iran Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hamid-Reza Assefi's Sunday remarks on the issue have been rejected."
He added, "Iran and Russia would in near future announce the date for their next round of talks on nuclear issues."
Russia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov, too, on Monday referring to the "Iranian side's contacts within the past couple of days", said, "Bilateral talks on Iran's nuclear program, including Russia's proposal on enrichment for Iran in Russian soil, would be surveyed in consultations between the two countries' concerned officials in near future."
Head of Russia's Federal Atomic Energy Agency Sergei Chernienko, too, said here on Monday that Russia's proposal to Iran for joint enrichment in Russian soil is still valid.

He added, "The remaining precondition for the establishment of that center is meeting the demands of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on the part of Iran."
Most international atomic energy experts are agreed on the point that uranium enrichment, as well as pursuing nuclear research and development (R&D) activities within the framework of the IAEA regulations are the absolute rights of all signatories of the nuclear NPT, including Iran.

Although Iran has never breached any of the articles of that treaty, the United States has been pursuing its nuclear apartheid policy against Tehran persistently, accusing Iran of pursuing efforts aimed at manufacturing the A-bomb.

Iran's archrival is after forcing the international community to impose comprehensive sanctions against Iran resorting to the same phony accusations.
