Deputy Head of Supreme National Security Council for International Affairs and head of Iran's negotiating team in the Board of Governors Javad Vaeidi said on Wednesday that of the two options facing Iran in solving the nuclear crisis, including confrontation and compromise, it opts for `compromise and
cooperation'.
The third day of the Board of Governors meeting exclusively dealt with Iran's nuclear dossier, during which representatives of several states expounded on their outlooks about the issue.
"The Wednesday session closed without any outcome, namely no agreement was reached for taking measures against Iran.
"There are two options facing us, either compromise and cooperation or confrontation. However, we believe that the process of solving the issue is still going on," he added.
Vaeidi hoped for the best and said that Iran will do its best to select the first path, adding that however, under any condition it will continue its nuclear activities based on its relevant rights.
"The US may be able to deal a blow on us, but it should also be prepared to receive a blow. If the US prefers this option, it is free to choose.
"We provided some opportunities for reaching agreement on the issue and wait to see the way things will end up. We are now reviewing our stance to come up with proper policies and ways to tackle the new situation facing us," he concluded.
