NAM members in IAEA Board of Governors issue statement in support of Iran

The International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) Board of Governors concluded its morning meeting on the third day of its winter session on Wednesday.
In Wednesday's session the NAM group issued a statement in support of Iran's peaceful nuclear activities.
The statement supported the rights of all IAEA Board of Governors' members to conduct research for peaceful application of nuclear energy.
The statement also invited the Islamic Republic of Iran to increase its cooperation with IAEA and called all those engaged in Iran's nuclear dossier to exercise patience and self-restraint.
Representatives of some member countries such as Ecuador and China delivered speeches in the session.
The session will be continued in the afternoon after a break.
