Mottaki: There is no room for language of threat

Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki who is currently on a visit to Indonesia said on Thursday that there is no room for language of threat and unilateralism in the international community.
He reiterated Iran's legitimate right to use nuclear energy for civilian purpose.
Speaking to reporters after his meeting with his Indonesian counterpart, he said, "We cannot ignore our legitimate rights in taking advantage of nuclear energy for civilian use."
Iran implemented confidence-building measures for its nuclear program in the past three years, he said adding, "We believe in confidence-building as a mutual method."
The Islamic Republic of Iran has exercised fully cooperation with the IAEA and the International community to win their confidence, he said adding that "now it is their turn to win our confidence." On nuclear talks with Russian officials, he said Iran considers the Russian proposal to enrich her required uranium in Russian soil but there are some ambiguities which should be removed.
The Indonesian Foreign Minister Hassan Wirayuda attending the joint press conference said that his country backs continued talks on Iran's nuclear program and wished the issue would be resolved through diplomatic means.
There should create more room and opportunity for discussions in a bid to reach a diplomatic solution, because there is no need to create any new tension in the Middle East region, he pointed out.
Iranian foreign minister conferred on Thursday with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on issues mutual interest, expansion of bilateral relations and regional and international developments as well.
Mottaki also briefed Indonesian president on latest developments on Iran's nuclear negotiations.
