Enemies of Iran's Islamic Revolution intend to sow discord among the revolutionary forces in order to create insecurity and undermine the country from within, said President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here Monday evening.

In a meeting with members and officials of Iran's Islamic Coalition Party, the president said despite having done all within their power to exert external pressure on Iran, the enemies of the country's revolution have failed to achieve their goals.

They have instead tried to create problems for the country from inside by creating insecurity and dividing political parties, Ahmadinejad added.

However, he stressed that the Iranian nation would be able to successfully neutralize all plots through self-reliance and vigilance and by insisting on their firm (revolutionary) principles.

President Ahmadinejad also called on political parties to use their full potentials to help promote the Islamic system of government based on the Islamic laws as well as Iranian rich culture and civilization.

He also urged the parties to find new ways through further studies to advance the principles of economic and political management in the country.

Ahmadinejad also criticized that some of Western norms are still practiced in Iran in handling banking, economic and educational affairs.
