Head of Russia's Federal Atomic Energy Agency, Sergei Kirienko, will arrive in Iran on March 1 to hold talks with Iranian nuclear officials, an informed source said here Sunday.
Talking to reporters, the source added that Kirienko will visit Iran's Bushehr power plant, which is currently in the final phase of construction by Russian specialists.
He said there is no link between Iran's nuclear talks with Europe and the Russian plan to construct Bushehr power plant.
Kirienko said in Moscow last week that Iran can be among founders of enrichment site in Russia.
He added if Russia's plan on establishment of an uranium enrichment site inside the Russian territory was materialized, Iran would be among its founders while having no access to atomic technologies.
The Iranian officials have repeatedly stressed Iran's
inalienable right to have access to peaceful nuclear technology.
