Members of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission are to visit member states of the UN Security Council (except the United States) to hold talks on Iran's nuclear case.
Talking to IRNA here Saturday, the rapporteur of the commission, Kazem Jalali, said the visits are intended to explain Iran's nuclear stance.
"Iran's Majlis is determined to undertake parliamentary activities for conducting diplomacy according to prevailing circumstances considering its role and influence in this regard," he said.
"The Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis) is ready to use parliamentary diplomacy to explain its nuclear stance," he said.
"The visits will take place to strike a balance between domestic public opinion, on one side, and the case for states which Iran believes can play significant roles in resolving the nuclear issue on the other side," he added.
