Iranians can never be intimidated by enemies, interior minister

Interior Minister Mostafa Pour Mohammadi said here Thursday that the Iranian nation in the past 27 years after the triumph of the Islamic revolution encountered numerous problems and shortcomings created by enemies and God willing is strong enough not to be intimidated by the enemies.

Speaking to the Basij (volunteer) forces, he said the enemies' threats are not something new for our nation and it always served to boost national determination.

If the enemies wish to hold dialogue with our nation, they should have a mutual understanding from our people and fully observe their demands, he said.

"The Iranian nation is brave enough to stand against any threats posed by the enemies and never hesitates to do so."
"Massive presence of Iranian nation in the 27th anniversary victory of the Islamic revolution proves that our people abide by national leaders and remain committed to the cause of the Islamic Revolution," he said.

Iranian nation remain steadfast in their determination to prove that they never yield to any enemy, he underlined.

If the enemies resort to the language of force in dealing with Iranian nation, there is no doubt that they will face strong reaction from our nation, he pointed out.

The new government is to promote development plans nationwide and expects all-out support of people from different walks of life to fulfill such a grave task, he said.
