Iran-Davoudi-Nuclear
First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi here today said that the Iranian people will not relinquish their right to access nuclear technology.
On the sidelines of the Bahman 22 (February 11) rallies, he told IRNA that such a right can in no way be surrendered, adding that with the nation's firm mandate the government itself would have no right to give it up.
Davoudi noted the similarity of Imam Hossein's (AS) uprising on Ashura (10th of mourning month of Moharram) and that of the Islamic Revolution, and said their magnificence and glory have dazzled the whole world.
"After 1,400 years, various world communities still benefit from the lessons of Ashura, and the enemies of Islam should have fully understood by now the depth of Iran's culture and social roots after years of recalling this historical event," concluded the first vice- president.
