Speaker-Nuclear-Desecration
Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad Adel said here Sunday blaspheming Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and the IAEA vote against Iran both stem from one cause.

"The West cannot tolerate Muslims dignity and authority so, it is determined to humiliate them," he said at open session of Majlis (Parliament).

He maintained, "The Muslim world is vigilant. As they have expressed outrage and protest at desecration of Islam prophet, they will not keep silent against bullying remarks under pretext of resolution of UN nuclear agency."
"Iran is a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and has cooperated with the nuclear agency voluntarily in
implementation of Additional Protocol to NPT to ensure peaceful nature of national nuclear program, said the speaker.

The Iranian nation as well as all awakened conscious across the world ask "why the US and Europe oppose to Iran's peaceful nuclear program while they support the occupied regime of Qods stockpiling of warheads?" he asked adding that the agency has not found any indication that Iranian nuclear program has diverted from civilian use.

Haddad Adel stressed Iran will not retreat from its stance as long as the questions remain without answers, adding Iran will not be intimidated by bullying remarks of oppressors.

He said, "We suggest Europe to hold dialogue among civilizations but it desecrates Islamic sanctities. Definitely, they have not well understood the new wave reverberated in the Muslim World." He also pointed to the Majlis approval to avoid voluntarily cooperation with the IAEA if Iran (be) reported to the Security Council.

"We cannot approve a decision which deprives us of our right.

Otherwise, it preserves the nation's right," he said referring to the mandate ordered by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to end voluntarily cooperation with the IAEA.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a letter to the head of Iran Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) ordered to rescind voluntary implementation of the Additional Protocol to the NPT.

He said that Iran respects NPT and Safeguards Agreement of IAEA.

The International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors on Saturday voted to report Iran's nuclear dossier to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
