Chairman of Iranian representation to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Javad Vaeidi said on Saturday that Iran does not consider the resolution of IAEA 35-member governing board as an expression from the international community.

He told reporters after EU troika put to voting a resolution it had drafted against Iran in London that the resolution conveyed only a message from the Western governments.

"Iran does not regard as serious what took place at IAEA governing board today. We see it as part of our experience of Western attitude," Vaeidi said.

"More than 100 countries support Iranian nuclear program in line with Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and the positive vote of 27 states at IAEA cannot be seen as representing the international community," he said.

Asked what Iranian government would do after Iran's referral to Security Council, he said that the government is obliged to enforce the parliamentary decision which called for suspending all voluntary actions Iran took for the past three years as confidence building measures with the international community.

CNN asked Vaeidi whether Iran would carry out its threat of resuming uranium enrichment in Natanz, he said that Iran never threatens IAEA, adding, "We have said that UN Security Council referral would lead to suspension of implementing Additional Protocol to NPT Iran signed in December 2003.

"We have suspended uranium enrichment in Natanz in the past three years," Vaeidi said.

"After the resolution, we are looking for the time when the UN nuclear agency may send Iran to Security Council," he said.

CNN asked about Russian offer to enrich uranium in Russia, Vaeidi said that Iran would study Russian offer under the new condition after the resolution.

"If enrichment begins in Natanz, we will have no need for Russian supply," he said.

"Of course we will proceed with negotiations with Russian Federation. We will wait and see what will happen next."
CNN asked Vaeidi whether Iran prefers confrontation with the West, he said that Iran is not after confrontation with any state and advise them to take lesson from the manner in which the Iranian nation stood up against US-backed Iraqi-imposed war on Iran (1980-1988).

"Iranian nation are courageous and will never bow to threat or intimidation," he said.

"The US and three European states, Britain, France and Germany do not respect NPT and attempt to force Iran to abandon it rights enshrined by NPT," Vaeidi said.
