Iran-Russia-Larijani
Iran has agreed to the outlines of Russian offer to produce fuel for Iranian nuclear power plants, Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani said at Mehrabad airport upon arrival in Tehran from Moscow on Wednesday.

He said that Iran has positive view about the Russian offer to put an end to Iran-EU standoff about Iranian nuclear program.

"Russian offer has some ambiguities that should be removed and a framework should be organized for Iran-Russia cooperation," he said.

He told reporters that the topic of Iran-China cooperation in the field of nuclear energy in future has nothing to do with Russian offer and it is a bilateral issue.

"Russian offer is alive and would have long life. The next round of talks about Russian offer to Iran will be held in Moscow in February to debate details of the plan. We discussed outlines of the plan in Moscow," Larijani said.

"Russian secretary of National Security Council said that Russia believes that Iranian nuclear dispute with the European Union should be resolved within the UN nuclear agency," Larijani said.

He said that both Iran and Russia have reached agreement on the outlines of the plan whose details will be studies in February.

He advised the European Union to focus on diplomatic process to resolve the crisis.

"This is the first experience for the European Union to enter into negotiation with other state and if it took a hard line in dealing Iran, he would no longer be able to handle international issues." Larijani advised the EU to mobilize their efforts to resolve nuclear crisis with Iran through diplomatic means and not to use its energy to refer it to UN Security Council.

"Such a hostile approach will surely backfire."
