If Europe wishes to refer Iran's case to the UN Security Council the Iranian government will have to enforce nuclear approvals of the Majlis, said Iran's top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani here on Wednesday.
Majlis on November 22, 2005, adopted an urgency bill which called for an end to all voluntary suspension of measures by the government in case the country's nuclear dossier was referred to the UN Security Council.
Under the approval, the government will be obliged to suspend all its voluntary cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the event Iran's nuclear dossier is reported to the UN Security Council.
Talking to reporters upon arrival from Moscow, Larijani said, "If Europe takes such a decision, we will resume our work because referral of Iran's case to the UN Security Council is a sign of depriving Iran of its rights."
He said such a decision will not be helpful for Europeans and definitely, Europe will not benefit from it.
He stressed, "We have not closed the door to talks. We wants to solve the problem through understanding and attain peaceful nuclear technology through legal means."
