President: We do not ignore our rights on nuclear technology

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stressed here Friday Iran would never ignore her legitimate rights on peaceful nuclear technology".
Speaking at a gathering of people at the provincial town of "Bastak", President Ahmadinejad said, "The super powers who build tens of nuclear powerplants annually, are trying to deprive Iran of its own legal rights".
Referring to the many benefits of nuclear energy in human life, including in medicine, agriculture and energy, the president said nuclear energy has effects on all fields of human life but the super owers intend to monopolize the technology for their own interests.
He added, "When fossil energy is used up in the world, they will start to sell their own nuclear energy at enormous prices to other nations and also impose pressure to maintain their own dominance on the world".
The chief executive said, " The super powers are not opposed to nuclear weapons, because they have it, but they oppose to scientific advancement of other nations".
According to all international laws and regulations, Iran has the right to gain access to the peaceful nuclear energy, he said.
The president noted reiterated Iran will follow production of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and would never be frightened by its enemies' threats.
President Ahmadinejad, on the third day of his provincial visit, arrived Friday in Bastak, another town of the southern Hormuzgan province.
