Preparations being made for resumption of nuclear research, says SNSC spokesman

Spokesman for the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Hossein Entezami said that International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors have begun making preparations for for Iran to resume its nuclear research activities.

Talking to IRNA Monday, he said the IAEA inspectors are to carry out the preliminary measures in Vienna but since yesterday was a holiday, they would do it on Monday.

He further noticed that no final conclusion has been reached on the issue yet.

Saying that the first round of Iran-Russia talks on Moscow's proposed plan was over, the SNSC spokesman said that the second round of negotiations is slated to be held on February 16 in Moscow after which the final conclusion of the talks will be made public.
