He further expounded on the meetings proceedings saying that the meeting focused on explanation of Tehran's foreign policy which is based on peaceful and cooperation and use of dialogue as its tool.

He also stressed Iran's readiness to continue nuclear negotiations with Europe based on scheduled time frame and international conventions which recognize Iran's right to have access to peaceful nuclear technology.

"We welcome all proposals and ideas which recognize Iran's right within the Non-Proliferation-Treaty (NPT) and are not against those rights."
In the last two days, Jalili has had various meetings in Paris with French officials including Deputy Foreign Minister, several members of Senate, and Iran-France Parliamentary Friendship Committees, discussing bilateral, regional world developments.

Jalili, in a meeting with the French Foreign Ministry Secretary General Jean-Pierre Lafon said on Friday that Iran is prepared to resume nuclear talks with EU as per schedule and in line with the international laws securing Iran's legitimate rights.

He referred to resumption of negotiations as an important step towards mutual confidence-building and a starting point in Iran-EU cooperation at the higher level, in particular with France.

Expounding on the country's policy on nuclear non-proliferation, he said that over the past years, Iran has been inclined towards compliance with nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), cooperating with the inspectors of its nuclear installations even on a voluntary basis and follow-up of bilateral confidence-building.
