Iran's ambassador to IAEA confers with ElBaradei

Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) here Mohammad Mehdi Akhoundzadeh conferred Friday afternoon with IAEA's chief Mohamed ElBaradei.
In the meeting, ElBaradei expressed satisfaction over Iran's cooperation with the agency and said in his report to the Board of Governors, he would mention Iran's assistance.
He also requested for Iran's more cooperation to solve remaining ambiguities in the dossier and added the continuation and
strengthening of the cooperation can accelerate the trend of settling the issues.
Akhoundzadeh, for his part, said Iran's nuclear policy is concentrated on the principle that the IAEA should be the center of the negotiations.
He expressed hope that Iran's nuclear dossier to be finalized in the IAEA.
Iran's ambassador added Iranian statesmen have opened the ways of negotiation to achieve an agreement on nuclear activities to serve the interests of both sides.
Emphasizing Iran's peaceful nuclear activities and the confirmation of that by the agency's inspections, Akhoundzadeh called the enrichment of uranium in Iran as an inalienable right of the country.
He added the results of investigation concerning Iran's nuclear activity proved many claims against Iran baseless and false.
Iran's permanent representative to the IAEA said, "President Ahmadinejad's proposal indicating Iran's readiness to give partnership to other countries or foreign companies on Iran's nuclear program shows the most possible transparency in the country's atomic activity.
