Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani said on Tuesday that Europeans have gone to extremes on Iran's nuclear program.
He rejected the European call to stop Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF) in Isfahan and said that Europeans have adopted journalistic hype toward Iranian nuclear program.
Larijani said that his letter to foreign ministers of European states -- France, Britain and Germany -- is a national document which proves that Iran used diplomatic means to resolve the stand-off with European states on its nuclear program.
He said that so far the Europeans have not announced their response to his letter.
He criticized the European states for mixing up nuclear program with human rights record and said that instead of diplomatic approach, the Europeans preferred to adopt journalistic hype toward Iran.
Larijani said Iran expects Director General of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to deliver satisfactory report on technical aspects of Iranian nuclear program and verify that the program is of civilian nature.
Iran has given 'objective guarantee to IAEA by signing Additional Protocol to NPT in 2003 which grants short notice inspection to the agency.
