At least six people died and 100 people injured in bomb blast in Ahvaz market place on October 15. Two or three of those injured in the bomb blast are in critical condition, hospital director said.

"Presence of British troops in the southern Iraq alongside Iranian borders is the root cause of insecurity for Iraqi and Iranian people and intelligence traced down Britons to have been involved in hiring terrorists for sabotage in Khuzestan province."
