President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here Wednesday declared that Iran's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will continue within the framework of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
Speaking to reporters after meeting a number of officials in charge of the Headquarters for Campaign Against Economic Corruptions, in response to a question raised on the issue, he added that Iran will continue cooperation with the agency as usual.
Concerning continuation of the activities and the working procedure of the headquarter, he pointed to the changes effected in the structural arrangements by its secretariat and noted that it was decided to make the meetings shorter and hold them either monthly or at shorter intervals.
In response to another reporter who raised a question on the way the government will administer justice in campaign against economic corruption, the chief executive replied, "In today's Majlis meeting, I will announce part of the plans I have in mind to this effect."
Asked whether he would admit his failure in case he fails to succeed in campaign against economic corruption as promised in his electoral campaign and given the relevant mottos which helped his landslide victory in the presidential election, Ahmadinejad said, "Negotiations are currently underway on the issue and in case any obstacle is faced during the process, we would certainly keep the public informed."
About the time of appointment of ministers for the four ministries whose proposed candidates failed to gain enough votes from Majlis, he said that they would be introduced up to the end of the present month.
