Iran on Thursday invited the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Mohamed ElBaradei to pay a visit to the country to discuss remaining issues on nuclear case.
Talking to reporters, Iran's permanent representative to the Vienna-based international organizations, Mohammad-Mehdi Akhoundzadeh, said that he extended an invitation to ElBaradei to visit Iran.
He said that the visit would be an opportunity to discuss some remaining topics and scope of Iran's cooperation with the UN Agency on national nuclear program.
"Return to negotiation table will be the best and only solution to Iran's nuclear case.
"Iran remains committed to all undertakings and regards negotiations beneficial to remove the standoff with European Union," he said.
He stated that members of IAEA board of governors are considering the initiative presented by Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Iran's nuclear program in his address to the World Summit in New York.
