Iran on Sunday called for referral of the Zionist regime's dossier to the United Nations Security Council.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Assefi, addressing domestic and foreign reporters at his weekly press briefing, said the Zionist regime threats regional and international peace and security.
"If countries intend to adopt a fundamental and serious measure, they should send the Zionist regime's case to the Security Council because of the (posing) threats to peace and security.
"Zionist Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and his friends are not committed to any principles. The Islamic Republic has been pessimist about their goals since the beginning and has announced the matter for several times," he said.
Asked about Iran's talks with the three European states (Germany, Britain, and France) on nuclear issues, the spokesman added if negotiations end with no conclusion, the European community will suffer more than Iran.
Uranium enrichment suspension will continue during the period the talks are underway, Assefi said, adding Iran will not accept any prolongation of negotiations.
"Talks with the Europeans will go on and we hope to reach a clear result."
Iran and the European states will continue talks on exploring avenues for not long-term uranium suspension and the fact that Iran will not forgo its right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, he stated.
Iran will not insist on continuation of talks if feels the Europeans intend to waste time, Assefi said, adding during the previous meetings, the Europeans proved they were not willing to waste time.
He further stated that no one can deprive countries of access to peaceful nuclear technology and added the Islamic Republic does not agree with imposing limitation on states in this regard.
Asked about developments in Lebanon, he said, "Iran has no military force in Lebanon. Our cooperation with the Lebanese government is transparent."
