Iran-EU resume talks behind closed doors

The Iran-EU nuclear talks starting at French Foreign Ministry in Paris behind closed doors on Wednesday continue.
A diplomatic source told IRNA that the meeting is to hear and discuss the absolute and objective guarantees, Europe has given to Iran in exchange for the country's stopping its nuclear programs.
The source said Iran is not ready to lose its nuclear technology and know-how in exchange for the guarantees.
The three nuclear, economic and political committees are expected to present reports on their three-month performance to the meeting and the steering committee would draw a conclusion and make necessary decisions.
The source said the main committee is headed by Sirous Naseri and the political and economic committees' reports are presented to the meeting by Iran's ambassador to Bern Ravanchi and Kia Tabatabie respectively.
The source added that Iran's ambassador and permanent UN envoy in Geneva Mohammad-Reza Alborzi, Iran's ambassador to the UN Mohammad-Javad Zarif and Director-General of the Political and International Affairs Department at Iran's Foreign Ministry Amir- Hossein Zamaninia are among other members of Iranian delegation.
Based on the report, a representative of the EU Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana is also present at the Paris meeting.
