Wednesday`s blast Daylam caused by dynamite explosion
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Bushehr, Feb 17, IRNA -- The sound of a blast which was heard from a mountainous region in the southern province of Bushehr was caused by explosion of dynamites used for road construction, said a local security official on Thursday. Head of Bushehr province Security Council`s secretariat, Abbas Tabarroki told IRNA that experts sent to the region reported that the pre-noon blast on Wednesday in the mountainous region east of Daylam port in northern parts of Bushehr province, was the result of explosion of dynamites used to make roads for future laying of gas pipeline for transfer of gas from Assaloyeh to Bushehr. "Using dynamites to flatten mountainous areas and opening the way for pipeline construction is a routine affair," stressed the official. On Wednesday, Bushehr Governor General Esmaeel Tabadar denied any attack on Iran`s nuclear and oil facilities in the province. 1394/1412
