Ralliers stress Iran`s right on civilian use of nuclear energy

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Tehran, Feb 10, IRNA -- Tehrani ralliers, in their resolution issued
on Thursday, stressed the legitimate right of the Iranian nation for
civilian use of nuclear energy.
A resolution issued at the end of Bahman 22 rallies, marking the
26th triumph anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, added that
the US, British and the Zionist regime have intensified their smear
campaign against the Islamic Republic under such false accusations of
attempts to acquire nuclear weapons.
Such moves are only to intervene in domestic affairs of the
regional states and in order to create tension and militarize the
Mideast region, the resolution reiterated.
Condemning any move to deprive the Islamic Republic of Iran of its
legitimate right to access nuclear technology, the ralliers further
stressed that the Iranian nation will by no means give up its
legitimate right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
Underlining the need for massive participation in the upcoming
presidential elections, the resolution urged the country`s officials
to pave the way for election of committed and popular candidates.
In their resolution, the participants in the rally referred to
the Zionist regime as the source of insecurity and instability of the
sensitive Middle East region and voiced their support for resistance
of the Palestine nation against the Israeli expansionism.
The resolution also announced support for the oppressed
Palestinian people in the face of aggressions by the occupying regime
of the holy Qods, saying the Zionist threats stem from the US support
for the Israeli crimes.
Meanwhile, the ralliers renewed their allegiance to the ideals of
the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, the Supreme
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and the
1979 Islamic Revolution.
