Fleming denies report on IAEA second visit to Iran`s Parchin site

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Vienna, Jan 19, IRNA -- The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
spokeswoman, Melissa Fleming, here Wednesday vehemently denied the
report that the IAEA plans to go back to Parchin military site in Iran
after a first inspection last Thursday.
A diplomat, who asked not to be named, told AFP Tuesday that IAEA
inspectors intend to return to Parchin site, waiting for Iran`s
permission for a second visit.
Fleming, in her talks with IRNA, added, "Some diplomats, who are
unknown, say something to the press and most of their remarks are
false and completely wrong."
The French agency has also quoted the anonymous diplomat as saying
that Iranian Defense Minister Ali Shamkhani announced that the IAEA
inspectors have carefully probed Parchin site and his country is
confident that the inspectors will not report a fishy case in their
report on Iran`s nuclear activities.
The spokeswoman refused to elaborate on inspection of a delegation
currently in Tehran, saying the IAEA cannot give the press any detail
of the visits, due to their sensitivity, as the agency is not willing
to analyze them right now.
She added Parchin site has been inspected and more inspections in
Iran are ahead.
The inspectors are in Iran to pay visits to different sites not
just Parchin, said Fleming, adding that it is a routine part of a
process.
