Espionage scenario to question Iran`s faith in IAEA accord foiled
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Dec 1, IRNA -- Ministry of Information said on Wednesday that the intelligence officers have arrested an individual portraying himself as managing a company involved in manufacturing centrifuges in an orchestrated attempt to prove that Iran still has not stopped centrifuge assembling. "An individual `Asghar S` with a record of espionage for foreigners had made arrangements with forged papers to declare himself in charge of a company that is still assembling centrifuges," the Information Ministry said. The Information Ministry said that the individual aimed to bring under question Iranian commitment to the accord it clinched with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). "Forging a contract to that effect, the individual had embarked on racketeering. Our personnel managed to arrest him." The Information Ministry said that raising the forged document, the individual wanted, first of all, to receive money from the respective organization in Iran adding that US espionage network had been behind such a scenario to prove that Iran is not committed to its accord with the IAEA. 1416/2322/1432
