Iran, EU reach agreement, centrifuges will not be sealed: nuclear spokesman
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Vienna, Nov 28, IRNA -- Iran`s nuclear spokesman said here Sunday that according to an agreement between Tehran and European Union trio the centrifuges which Iran demanded for research and development will not be sealed, but they will be under the surveillance of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Mehr New Agency (MNA) quoted Hossein Moussavian as saying that the IAEA has also been informed of Iran`s views in this regard "It is clear that these centrifuges falls within the scope of the suspension of uranium enrichment activities by Iran." He further said that Iran will hold more talks with the European trio on the issue in the next few days. Finalization of the agreement prepares the ground for the IAEA board of governors to meet on Monday to discuss Iran`s nuclear program, Moussavian added. Moussavian also predicted that the board member states will ratify the draft resolution on Iran`s nuclear program through a vote rather than consensus. It should be noted that testing operation on these centrifuges will be included in the suspension. 2324/1432
