Fleming welcomes Iran`s initiative to suspend uranium enrichment

Vienna, Nov 24, IRNA -- Spokesperson for the International Atomic 
Energy Agency (IAEA) Melissa Fleming here Wednesday afternoon welcomed
Iran`s initiative to suspend uranium enrichment and termed it as a 
`major step`. 
Talking to IRNA, she said the IAEA Director General Mohamed 
ElBaradei has repeatedly praised Iran`s measure. 
Such a step taken by the Islamic Republic has resulted in issuance
of a positive report by ElBaradei, she reiterated. 
The IAEA Board of Governors is to review nuclear issues of Iran 
and South Korea on Thursday and Friday, she added.
