ElBaradei to present Iran report to IAEA Board ahead (of schedule)
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Vienna, Nov 4, IRNA -- The UN nuclear watchdog chief Mohamed ElBaradei would present his new report on Iran`s nuclear program to the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) either on November 11 or 15. The IAEA Press Section told IRNA on Thursday that if the report is not submitted to the Board on November 11, its delivery would be postponed to November 15 due to three days of holiday, beginning from Muslims` Eid-al-Fitr on Friday, November 12 -- announced as a holiday by the UN -- followed by the weekend holidays of Saturday and Sunday, November 13 through 14. The IAEA Board will convene on November 25, to discuss Iran nuclear dossier. An Austrian diplomat said on Thursday that it seems that ElBaradei would present a positive report on Iran and the next IAEA Board meeting would end in a good manner for the country. Iran has put all its nuclear sites open to the IAEA systematic monitoring in line with the additional protocol to Non-Proliferation Treaty it signed in December 2003. 1420/1416
