Iran to sign additional protocol on return of spent nuclear fuel with Russia

Moscow, Nov 3, Itar-Tass/ACSNA/IRNA -- Iran will sign an additional protocol on the return of spent nuclear fuel to Russia in December 2004, Ali Akbar Soltani, deputy general director for political and international affairs at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, said at a Tuesday conference in Moscow. There are no technical or political reasons to prevent the signing of this protocol during a Tehran visit of Russia`s Federal Atomic Energy Agency head Alexander Rumyantsev," Soltani said. /2321/1432
