Iran, EU trio to proceed with nuclear talks

Vienna, Oct 21, IRNA -- Senior officials from the European trio of France, Britain and Germany and their Iranian counterparts, after three hours of talks behind the closed doors, agreed to continue their dialogue on Tehran`s nuclear programs. "Both sides agreed to pursue the talks and hold meetings before November 25," Sirous Nasseri, a member of the Iranian delegation at the meeting told IRNA. He stressed that the Europeans and Iranians agreed to carry on dialogue on the nuclear issue. In the meeting, Iran presented its offer and was also received the offer jointly suggested by the three European states, he added. The talks were held at the French mission in Vienna behind the closed doors. The political directors-general from the foreign ministries of the European trio were conducting the talks with the Iranian delegation, headed by Amir Hossein Zamani-Nia. Zamani-Nia is currently the Iranian Foreign Ministry`s International Affairs Director-General. Iran`s Permanent Representative to the UN Mohammad-Javad Zarif and Iran`s Ambassador to the IAEA Pirouz Hosseini were among the members of the Iranian delegation. 1405/1432
