Russia to continue atomic energy cooperation with Iran - FM

Tehran, Oct 10, Itar-Tass/ACSNA/IRNA -- Russia will continue atomic energy cooperation with Iran, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in Tehran on Sunday. "An agreement on the fuel delivery to the nuclear power plant in Bushehr will be signed soon together with a supplement on the return of spent nuclear fuel," Lavrov said. "Cooperation with Iran is bilateral, without any pressure from a third party," he said. Lavrov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin `remembers about the invitation to visit Iran, and visit dates will be coordinated through diplomatic channels`. He said he did not discuss the visit dates at Sunday`s negotiations. "Iran is an important regional partner of Russia. Our interaction targets at regional stability," he said. /2322/1432
