Rafsanjani believes US would never dare invade Iran

Tehran, Oct 5, IRNA -- Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said here Tuesday that he was confident the US has learned from experience never to try to enter dangerous Iranian territory. Making the remark while viewing an airspace and national security exhibition, he stressed that the Iranian nation never entertained doubts that the US and Israel were the country`s main enemies and were trying cause troubles to the country in every possible way. It is, however, safe to assume by now that these enemies have gained maturity and will not make the mistake of attacking Iran. Stressing that Iran was never after confrontations with the US, he was certain, however, that the world would change if a confrontation did happen. Rafsanjani made it known that Iran has been working for some time now to produce its own satellites, but that a prior program is is the production of missiles. 1424/2321/1432
