No indication of nuclear activity at Parchin site: Elbaradei

Vienna, Sept 18, IRNA -- Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohamed Elbaradei here Friday made clear that his agency had discovered no indications of nuclear-related activities at a site in Parchin, located in southwestern outskirts of Tehran. "There is no indication that this site has any nuclear-related activities. However we continue to investigate this and other sites," Elbaradei announced during a news conference. The US had falsely claimed that Parchin was being used as a cover to a clandestine nuclear program. Tehran had vehemently denied that it had carried out any nuclear- related testing at the site. 1422/1432
