ElBaradei says IAEA never set any deadline over Iran nuclear issue

Vienna, Sept 13, IRNA -- Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohamed ElBaradei here Monday stressed that the UN nuclear watchdog has not set any deadlines amid media reports of a European ultimatum for Iran. "I never set any deadlines ... it depends on the cooperation of Iran and it depends on other member states," ElBaradei told the press ahead of the meeting of the IAEA`s Board of Governors to discuss Iran`s nuclear case. The IAEA voiced hope that the ongoing board deliberations would "go smoothly". He termed the discussions on Iran`s nuclear program an "important issue". 1422/2330/1432
