Iran sees positive developments in nuclear talks with IAEA
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Sept 7, IRNA -- Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi said here on Tuesday that Iran has been in constant touch with the UN nuclear watchdog (IAEA) and has seen positive developments and progressive talks with the Europeans and the nuclear agency. In a telephone conversation with Spanish minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Kharrazi expressed hope that the results of September 13 meeting of the IAEA`s Board of Governors would be based on reality given Spain`s presidency of the board, the Information and Press Department at Foreign Ministry reported. Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos confirmed Iran`s positive moves on its nuclear program and stressed continuing nuclear talks between Iran and Europe. Continuing consultations with Europe is the best way to preserve the current situation, Moratinos said, adding "Though some countries disagree with the situation but we could see improvement through cooperation." 1405/2322/1432
