Asefi comments on Iran`s nuclear fuel

Tehran, Feb 16, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi 
said here Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is potentially 
capable of producing nuclear fuel. 
Responding to a question by IRNA correspondent on Iran`s 
capability to produce nuclear fuel and whether the country possesses 
such product, he said the fact is that the country enjoys the 
technological know-how for production of such fuel but it has not 
taken any practical measures to this effect. 
The Islamic Republic of Iran is among those countries which 
possess the technological know-how for peaceful application of nuclear
technology and can produce nuclear fuel as per international rules and
regulations and offer such products to consumers, he said.
