Kharrazi meets Democratic People Republic of Korea deputy FM

Tehran Dec 14, IRNA -- Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi in meeting here
Sunday with Democratic People Republic of Korea`s Deputy Foreign 
Minister Kim Yong Il said the two nations have varied potentials which
could be the basis for expansion of mutual ties. 
He said that mutual respect and safeguarding mutual interests are 
principles that could be a model for strengthening relations among 
nations. 
"The logic of pressure, hegemony and superiority tarnishes 
cooperation among nations." 
He said that the efforts by Pyongyang to establish peace and 
security in the Korean peninsula are beneficial for the whole of 
southeast Asia. 
Yong also conveyed greetings from his country`s foreign minister 
to Kharrazi saying `the two countries relations should be 
strengthened`. 
He said his country is in favor of peace and security in the 
region.
