Asefi rejects Iraqi missile experts` presence in Iran
IRNA
Tehran, Nov 17, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi here Monday refuted news spread by US intelligence officials on presence of Iraqi missile experts in Iran as "completely baseless", saying this is a kind of taking advantage of current situation in Iraq. "This way of producing such news stories is the easiest and the most superficial way to address existing questions," Asefi told IRNA. He said that while the long-range missiles of Saddam Hussein regime had hit civilian areas in several Iranian cities for years with prior consent of the US, the claim that Iraqi missile scientists had taken refuge in Iran is illogical and meaningless.
