Vatican hails Iran`s peaceful nuclear policies

Vatican City, Nov 5, IRNA -- Vatican expressed its ultimate support for Iran`s peaceful intentions in voluntarily suspending uranium enrichment activities. Vatican`s Deputy foreign minister in a meeting with Iran`s ambassador to the country Mostafa Boroujerdi here Tuesday hailed Iran`s move and termed it as a step towards consolidating world peace. He also asked the ambassador to officially reflect the positive attitudes of Vatican in this regard to Iranian officials. Boroujerdi outlined Iran`s policies which dismiss any form of production of nuclear arms. He also stressed Iran`s right for peacefully using nuclear energy and cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). 1424/210 End
